I work for a large Telecommunications company as a Network Architect. The product I have been working on for the last 6 years is "Ethernet" Granted it's not all the same project. I've covered aspects from the research through the installation for Core, Metro and Access.

I've been partially active on these topics in the MEF, and the IETF, however I have not published to, nor written any papers on the topic. I have blogged on some web sites about the topic, but don't agree with how they run their blog, so I finally got around to setting up my own blog.

I'll be presenting my own personal thoughts on VPLS and its usage in the telecommunications industry. I work for a large telecommunications company but will not be representing them inside of this blog. I will only be presenting my opinion on different topics as they relate to VPLS and Ethernet in general. I hope you find my ramblings useful, entertaining, or enlightening.

If you do, send me an e-mail and I'll hook you up with my company who does a pretty good job with the products. If you don't please ignore me. Or go somewhere else.

I'm pretty busy and won't be doing this with any frequency. I think you can probably expect a post a week, some weeks more, some weeks less. Anything more than that, you'll have to look elsewhere.
